32nd Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade
The 32nd annual World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set to traverse a mere 82 feet along North Market Street on Saturday, March 16.
Parade participants will begin at 3:17 p.m. on the corner of Third and North Market streets and head north. The parade is free and open to anyone who wishes to enter and show off his or her Irish spirit. There are no entry fees or prizes.
The event is organized by local
volunteer members of the parade committee, Mark and Stacey Allen,
founders, and Chris and Lori Burns.
Grand Marshal duties will be performed by the family of Joyce Luke.
